AREQUIPA: COLCA CANYON

DAY: 01. ARRIVAL TO AREQUIPA CITY

Transfer airport/bus station to hotel. Overnight in Arequipa.

DAY: 02. AREQUIPA – PANORAMIC BUS

Breakfast, In the morning visit of the Arequipa Main Square, viewpoint of Yanahuara, Viewpoint of Carmen Alto, district of Sachaca, Tingo, terraces of Paucarpata (optional visit of the Mansion del Fundador (famous Spanish colonial house) windmill of Sabandia. Overnight in Arequipa city.

DAY: 03. AREQUIPA – CHIVAY TOWN

Breakfast, trip to Chivay from Arequipa, on the way to Yura – Pampa Cañahuas (observation of andean camelids such as vicugnas), then the back of the Chachani, Misti and Pichu Pichu volcanoes. Arterwards you will see the “bofedales” to observe the mirgratory birds. And the view point of the volcanoes. Arrival to the town of Chivay. Accommodation at the hotel..Overnight in Chivay. (Optional visit of the thermal baths of the town).

DAY: 04. CHIVAY – COLCA CANYON

Breakfast, visit of the Cross of the Cóndor to appreciate the overflight of the famous andean bird: The Condor and the depth of the canyon, visit of the villages of Pinchollo, Achoma and Yanque, natural view points to observe storage places or “colcas”, lithomaquetas. Arrival to Chivay town, lunch

OPTION 1: Return to Arequipa, arrival and transfer to the airport or bus station.

OPTION 2: Travel to Puno (check the cost of the trip by tourist bus- see rates at the end of the file)

Conditions and validity: Group service. Consult costs of tours in Holy Week Festivities, National Holidays, Long Holidays until December 2020 (depending on room availability).  Does not include passages from the city of origin and vice versa. Cancellations / postponements of reservations must be 10 days before the arrival of the tourist, otherwise the 50% of the package will be charged.
